Increased awareness of "non-traditional" business models, like that of Assist-2-Sell, has spawned a national debate about the differences between "traditional" real estate companies and "discount" real estate companies. People involved in the discussion try to characterize real estate companies as being either "traditional" or "discount." It would be more accurate to differentiate using three categories:
  • Full-Service/High Commission – So-called "traditional" real estate companies
  • Full-Service/Reduced Commission – Assist-2-Sell
  • Limited Service/Discounted Commission – Real estate companies that offer a "menu of services" or limited service. Fees are charged for the services that are selected, usually, but not always, at a discounted commission.
As a "discounter," Assist-2-Sell is often inaccurately lumped in with the third category, "Limited Service/Discounted Commission." A key difference between Assist-2-Sell and others in the "discount" real estate space is the level of service. Assist-2-Sell discovered early on that while sellers love the discounted commission, they still need and want full-service. Assist-2-Sell is a full service real estate brokerage staffed by experienced, licensed real estate professionals who are members of the National Association of REALTORS®, as well as state and local REALTOR associations. How is Assist-2-Sell different from "traditional" real estate companies?

While the MLS is a powerful marketing tool, it is expensive and not always necessary. Many home sellers prefer the Direct-to-Buyers program because it gives Assist-2-Sell the opportunity to find a buyer through its own marketing efforts.

The "MLS for Less"® Program:

This program adds the benefits of the MLS, while still offering home sellers the opportunity to pay only the low, flat fee should the home buyer purchase directly through Assist-2-Sell. Under this program, a low commission is typically added to the cost. (Example: 2.5 percent) If an MLS agent brings the home buyer, they receive the 2.5 percent—Assist-2-Sell receives only their low, flat fee.
Both programs are designed to offer home sellers choices and to save them money. Regardless of which program a seller chooses, they still enjoy full-service.

With its “Full Service with $avings!”® program, Assist-2-Sell offers homeowners all of the services they might find at a “traditional” real estate company, but for a low, flat fee.  We'll sell your home for Only $5,995 - Same Flat Fee Regardless of Selling Price!
Assist-2-Sell is a licensed, full-service discount rate real estate brokerages that take care of everything home sellers need from a real estate company but with the advantage and savings only a low commission real estate agent can offer. 
Selling with Assist-2-Sell can help homeowners sell their homes faster and at a substantial savings.
When a home seller decides to work with an Assist-2-Sell sellers’ agent, they are given a choice between two marketing programs:
  • With the $5,995 Direct-to-Buyer® marketing program, customers pay a low, reduced flat fee to sell their home without listing it in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS).  While the MLS is a powerful marketing tool, not all home sellers want or need it.  Under this program, Assist-2-Sell agents provide full-service, handling everything throughout the entire home selling process.  Houses are marketed directly to home buyers, though, rather than to agents through the MLS.
  • Customers do have the option of placing their home in the local MLS through Assist-2-Sell’s MLS for Less® program.  If the house sells through its listing in the MLS, they pay a low commission to the buyers’ agent (typically around 2.5 percent)
  • Assist-2-Sell understands why many people decide to sell their home by themselves, and it is ready to assist with its “Paperwork Only”program.  Assist-2-Sell can help with the sales contract and the closing for an even lower, flat fee.
Assist-2-Sell customers receive full-service, regardless of whether they select the Direct-to-Buyer program or the MLS for Less program.  And there are no upfront costs; all fees are paid after the house closes escrow.
For each home that it lists, Assist-2-Sell will:
  • Price the home accurately using the same techniques as appraisers.
  • Implement an aggressive marketing campaign that is targeted and aimed at reaching active home buyers directly.
